This week’s recipe is yet another one from my sister Judy. These biscuits taste a lot like those at a well-known seafood restaurant.

Garlic Cheddar Biscuits
2 cups Bisquick
2/3 cup milk
1/2 to 1 cup (2 to 4 oz.) shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup margarine, melted
1/2 teaspoon (or more) garlic powder
1 tablespoon parsley flakes

Mix Bisquick, milk and cheese until a soft dough forms. Beat vigorously for 30 seconds. Drop dough by spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake about 10 minutes at 450 degrees or until light brown. Mix margarine, garlic powder and parsley flakes and brush over warm biscuits before removing from cookie sheet. Serve warm. Makes 12 biscuits.
