More charges have been added in the case involving Tyler Hutto, the former Latta High School Band director. Hutto was back in court on Thursday afternoon for a bond hearing on four charges–sexual battery with a student, two counts of disseminating obscene material, and solicitation of a minor.
All of these charges relate back to the initial investigation and did not occur after Hutto’s last appearance in court.
Judge Mackie Hayes left the bond and the terms as set by Judge Paul Burch. Hayes warned if there were any future problems that he would deny bond.
The Herald is told that there are three victims in the case. The new charges bring the total years that Hutto could face if convicted to 55 years.
More will be in next Tuesday’s issue of The Dillon Herald. [slide]
