Mrs. Miriam C. Ivey, 85, died Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at McLeod Regional Medical Center of Dillon after an illness.
Funeral service will be Thursday, April 28, 2011 at 2:00 pm at First Baptist Church of Lake View and burial to follow at Lake View Cemetery directed by Cooke Funeral Home.
The family received friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at Cooke Funeral Home in Lake View.
Mrs. Ivey was born in Dillon County, the daughter of the late Owen and Fronie Gray Carter.
She was a member of Lake View First Baptist Church.
Surviving Mrs. Ivey are her husband, Zimp Ivey, of the home; Two sons, Danny (Brenda) Ivey of Lake View, and Steve (Debbie) Ivey of Florence; Daughter, Barbara (Tony) Campbell of Gastonia, NC; Grandchildren, Mac (Joann) Campbell, Blair (Amy) Ivey, Jennifer Ivey, Stephen (Christina) Ivey, Leah Ivey, and Marion Kirkland; Great grandchildren, Brandon Campbell, Brooke Campbell, Arwin Ivey and Catherine Ivey.
