Dorothy Watson Rogers, age 76, of 144 W. Horne Road, passed away Monday, April 11, 2011 at Morrison Manor in Laurinburg, NC.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at 4 p.m. in Boles Funeral Home Chapel, Rowland, NC. Rev. Michael Johnson, officiating. Burial followed in Rowland Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, James Duncan “Dunk” Rogers; one daughter, Janie “Jan” Shooter and her husband Ricky of Rowland; two brothers, Hagood Watson of Dillon, SC and Hubert Watson of Dillon, SC; three sisters, Jane Collins of Mullins, SC, Nan Carmichael of Latta, SC, and Ann Byrd of Latta, SC; one grandson, Keith Shooter and his wife Victoria Riddle Shooter; and one great-grandson, Wilton Keith Shooter.
Visitation was held at 3:30 p.m. in boles Funeral Home Chapel, Rowland, NC.
