The Herald has learned that the Dillon  County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a death on Skillet Road. Captain Cliff Arnette of the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office said the person was in his home and was discovered by a family member. Due to the fact that the investigation was in its early stages, he was not able to comment further on the cause of death or whether foul play was involved.
