Alice Marie Edmonds, 53, passed away Thursday, August 19, 2010 in her residence.
Born in Florence County, SC, June 26, 1957, she was the daughter of Naomi Oakley Edmonds and the late Marion L. Edmonds.
Alice was a fun-spirited, outgoing person who never met a stranger.  She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her mother, Naomi Oakley Edmonds of Florence; daughters, Melanie Herring and husband Andy of Latta and Lori Creel and husband Mike of Florence; brother, Michael Edmonds of Florence; sisters, Sharon Britt of Lamar and Joyce Sanders of Hemingway; grandchildren, Leann Singletary, Halley Singletary, Stone Caulder, Jocelyn Creel, Amelia Creel, A.J. Herring, Blayze Herring and Caydee Herring.
A memorial service was held 2:30 p.m. Sunday, August 22, 2010 in Bristow Free Will Baptist Church.
She was also preceded in death by a sister, Denise Cook.
Burroughs-Cooper-Kiser Funeral Home in Bennettsville was in charge.
