Four people were killed in a wreck on Tuesday night in Dillon County, according to State Trooper Cpl. Paul Brouthers of the S.C. Highway Patrol.
The wreck occurred at approximately 11:25 p.m. on Tuesday, August 10th at the intersection of Old Kentyre Road and Old Hamer Road, about 4.5 miles north of Dillon.
The two-vehicle collision resulted in four fatalities including a 26-year-old male and a 20-year-old female, who were ejected from the vehicle; and a 22-year-old male and an 18-year-old female, who were not ejected from the vehicle. The four were not wearing seatbelts. The 26-year-old male was driving. Brouthers said the 26-year-old male was driving a 1999 Saturn eastbound on Old Hamer Road. He ran a stop sign and was struck in the side by a 2001 Volkswagen driving by a 32-year-old Fairmont man who was traveling northbound on Kentyre Road. The Fairmont man was injured and taken to McLeod Medical Center in Dillon.
Brouthers said the wreck is still under investigation by the S.C. Highway Patrol.

The victims are:

Tera Brittany Doss, age 18

Eric Michael Ross, age 22

Jeffery Lane Carpenter, Jr., age 26

Erin Hullett, age 20
