William F. Hobeika, 83, died Saturday, July 24, 2010, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. Sunday in Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00 -3:00 P.M. Sunday prior to service at the funeral home.
Born in Dillon County, May 5, 1927, he was the son of the late Ferris Elias Hobeika and Ludia Saleeby Hobeika. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, member of the First Presbyterian Church, and was retired from the U.S. Postal Service.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia W. Hobeika of Dillon; daughter, Gwen Anderson of Florence; brother, F.E. Hobeika of Dillon; grandchildren, Dawn & Mark Allen of Florence, McLendon Anderson of Timmonsville, and Sloan & Regina Anderson of Lexington; great-grandchildren, Mackenzie & Jesse Allen of Florence, Kaylee & Savanna Anderson of Lexington.
