Services for Gladys Lupo Wiggins will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at East Dillon Baptist Church with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 P.M. Monday at Cooper Funeral Home.
Mrs. Wiggins, 96, went to be with the Lord Saturday, July 24, 2010.
Born in Dillon County, April 27, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Tillman Lupo and Annie Horne Lupo. She was a member of East Dillon Baptist Church, and was a homemaker. She was the widow of the late Robert Jake Wiggins.
Survivors include her children, Richard J. Wiggins, and John Hardy Wiggins both of Florence, Audrey Lynn Wiggins of Dillon; 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, special nephew, Doug Miller of Dillon; special niece, Dorothy Grainger of Hartsville; special caregivers, Victoria Sealy and Bonnie Barfield.
Mrs. Wiggins was preceded in death by her son, Jimmie Robert Wiggins; daughter, Sylvia Wiggins Jernigan; brothers and sisters, Worth Lupo, Mack Lupo, Cora Miller, Mary Culbreth, J.T. Lupo, Emma Lupo, Inez Cook, and Ora Horne.
