A protest has been filed with the Dillon County Democratic Party in regards to the Probate Judge’s race.
Clarence “Sonny” McRae said he was served with the protest late Monday morning.
McRae has scheduled a meeting for 9 a.m. on Thursday, July 1st in the courtroom at the Dillon City-County Complex where the county executive committeemen of the Democratic Party will hear the protest.
A recount on Thursday showed the two candidates in the race separated by 17 votes with Teresa Campbell with 2,197 and Penny German with 2,180.
