Mrs. Lemoyne Hayes Arnette, 89, died June 11, 2010 at McLeod Hospice House in Florence, SC. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 PM Saturday, June 12, 2010 at Kannaday Funeral Home in Dillon. Funeral services are at 3:00 PM, Sunday, June 13, 2010 at First Baptist Church in Dillon with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery, directed by Kannaday Funeral Home.
Mrs. Arnette was born in Lumberton, NC May 26, 1921 a daughter of the late Oscar Reaves and Crettie Edwards Hayes.
She was the widow of Mr. Walter Meekins. Arnette was a homemaker and housewife as well as being a member of First Baptist Church in Dillon.
She is survived by her daughters Linda Arnette (Wayne) Riehl of Little River, SC and Anne Arnette Baker of West Columbia, SC; sisters Lucille Hayes of Wilmington, NC, Mattie Barnes of Florence, SC and Lois Jensen of Florence, SC; grandchildren Ben (Beth) Lagrange, Daniel (Danielle) Lagrange, John (Alicia) Baker, and Rachel (Douglas) Kelly and 4 great-grandchildren.
