Warren Thomas “Tom” Lane died Wednesday, April 21, 2010, in Pompano Beach, FL in an auto accident. He resided in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Born December 23, 1942 in Mullins, Marion County, SC, the son of the late Warren Osborne and Helen Delilah Wood Lane. He was a US Army and Navy Veteran, serving in Germany and Korea and was employed with Bigham Insulation Co. in Fort Lauderdale. He is survived by a son, Thomas Edward Lane of Fort Lauderdale, sister, Helen Diane Lane (Carley) Wiggins of Dillon County, SC; brothers, Lonnie Boyd Lane of Marion County, SC and Byron Henry (Buddy) Lane of Falkville, AL; nieces and nephews. Tom was a Baptist and supporter of Little Rock Baptist Church, Little Rock, Dillon County, South Carolina. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 AM on Saturday, May 1, with military honors at Lauderdale Memorial Park, 2001 SW 4th Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33315.
